We had a lovely stay in the high desert king room. A few things were lacking, mostly due to the high expectations set by misleading room descriptions on the resort's website. Pros: - The bed was very comfortable, the rain shower was great, and the area was quiet. - The mountain view from the private patio is nice (other rooms face the pool or parking lot) and the room has huge windows. - The common jacuzzi was great, nice and hot. - The toilet seat was heated (and had a bidet, if you're into that). - Great location. You can walk to the park at half a mile away and numerous restaurants are within walking distance. - The onsite restaurant is delicious and you get a discount as a guest. - Wifi worked great. - Friendly and respectful staff. Excellent communication before, during, and after our stay. Cons: - The "soaking tub" was just an ordinary bathtub. This was a big disappointment. Numerous pictures of furniture and other details online did not accurately portray the room. - The "secluded patio" is only secluded until the people in the next room come outside on the other side of the divider. But it does have more privacy than all the other rooms at the resort. - The kitchenette didn't have any silverware or a coffee maker. We bought instant coffee and used a knife to stir it. Reminded me of camping. - The room smelled like fresh paint. Not a big deal for us, but some people may not be able to tolerate it. - There is only one opening window high up (no screen), so you need to leave the sliding doors open if you want fresh air. - The couch was very uncomfortable and it is the only place to sit inside. I preferred the patio furniture. - The toilet paper was the quality of something you'd expect in a public outhouse.

Spent 2 nights here on vacation with my wife. It is a great resort. It was quiet and clean. Beds were comfortable. I like that it was a lot of small buildings instead of one large hotel. it felt very secluded.

Great location. We enjoyed being very close to the Zion Park entrance. Springdale is a very well accommodating town for everything you might need while visiting the area.
