The price doesn’t match the experience

My kids could not fall asleep because of the TV next door. The toiletries provided are so pathetic - not even enough for one person for one shower. There is no breakfast at the hotel. You can get a breakfast for a discounted price a mile from the hotel which is not very convenient since you have to take a shuttle everywhere. We did like the beautiful view from our room. The room was clean and spacious even though not decorated. I would say the price didn’t match the experience. Also, hotel owner, please consider to stop burning a chemical candle in the lobby. It gives some people massive headaches. I couldn’t spend any time in the lobby because it made me feel sick.

Marty, at the front desk, is such a fantastic employee and makes sure everything gets taken care of for you. I am in the customer service industry and appreciate good service. Have stayed at several hotels in Springdale and Driftwood is my new favorite. The rooms are really spacious and clean with very comfortable beds. The location is excellent with wonderful grounds and beautiful views. I had the same room both times, which also has a back porch. It was like my own little cottage. My service dog, Chadwick,
gives it a High Paw!

Don’t pay the high price at Driftwood Lodge!

Soap, hand lotion, shampoo and conditioner were all substandard. Had to get fresh towels, coffee mugs and coffee pods from the housekeeping area on my own. Don’t stay here. You’ll be disappointed. Host did not even say thank you upon check out. You don’t need our business.

This time we had our Aussie pups with us and the big grassy area off of our room offered easy access for frisbee throws! After long hikes, the hot tub was delightful and a place to meet other hikers from around the world. The pool was also a welcome plunge! Our room was so spacious, we were never crowded even with all of our travel gear. The restaurant on property, Kings Landing is delectable and we ate there 2 nights in a row. Yum! Plus seated at an outdoor table looking at the canyon. No need to leave Driftwood property at the end of a hiking day. This was our second visit. We will always book our reservations at Driftwood when visiting Zion. Five Stars!

Driftwood Lodge was one of the best places we ever stayed at and we have traveled far and wide. I wish we had stayed there for more time as I didn’t want to leave this gem of a place. Hoping to return there someday with our family and friends for extended time! Highly recommend
