Great place to stay and within walking distance to restaurants and aupwemarket. Could do with mite shampoo and soap in rooms. Great balcony to sit on in the evening with friends. Large comfortable rooms with plently of space but furniture could do with an upgrade

Wonderful location and clean rooms!

Room was clean and comfy! Lots of space for our whole family to spread out a bit. The balcony was very nice and a beautiful spot to sit and enjoy! Free coffee and tea in the office in the morning. We loved how close it was to the north entrance of the park.

A great hotel in Gardiner within minutes drive to the North entrance of Yellowstone. There are elk wondering around the hotel, and near by streets. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious, and being on the top floor was very quiet. The hotel manager was very friendly and customer service oriented. There is Ridley's supermarket down the street that is convenient and decent prices. Each room has chairs outside to enjoy the view of the mountains.

Originally had another place booked in Gardiner but I shop around and decided ton switch my booking and stayed here. Very pleased. Easy check-in. Close to everything. Comfortable room/bed. I'd definitely stay here again without question.

Pot smokers - Front desk not manned after 9PM

Check in was easy and polite, but we were told that there would be no one at the front desk after 9pm. Check in staff (and signage posted inside our room door) emphasized no smoking, vaping, etc in room or on the deck outside each room’s door. But, at 9:05pm someone started smoking pot until 11pm. I called the front desk, and no one answered and then I remembered that no one was at the front desk. The smell of pot was disgusting and strong. I could not tell where the smoker was and I needed to sleep after a long day of traveling. I did not deem this incident to be an emergency. At 7am the next day, no one was at the desk and there were several guests waiting outside the door to check out. I couldn’t wait and just left ours keys in the key drop. The moral of the story is: Don’t stay at a hotel/motel/lodge when the front desk in not manned 24 hours. A lot can happen after 9pm.
