I just wanted to write a review about one of the managers here and to let everyone know that Kadance Orr went above and beyond to help my wife and I last night. The air conditioner was not working properly and when maintenance would not come and help (I’ve worked mx so I know how that goes…when you’re off you’re off) Ms Orr came in on her off time and handled the situation professionally. So my wife and I salute you Ms Orr (if you see this).

Not Worth the Price

It's an outdated hotel in need of some work. The pool was closed. There were signs about ongoing renovations but we didn’t see anything. The fitted sheet on our bed had dirt stains. A bug came out of one of the pillow cases when I moved the pillows. One of the two beds was very squeaky. One was very curved in the middle. I had to sleep on the edge so that I don’t roll to the center. The sink was very low for anyone of any height. It was exceptionally low for anyone beyond 5’7”. All rooms we walked by had the same sink. Breakfast was decent with pancakes, eggs, bacon, biscuits, oatmeal, blueberry muffins, cinnamon rolls, bagels, English muffins, sliced bread, coffee, juices, 2% milk and flavored yogurts. It was the same as many other cheaper hotels. The price we paid was not worth the hotel or the stay.

Overall, it was ok. But definitely not what we're used to. There were 4 of us in the room, but housekeeping only ever gave us 3 sets of towels; we were told when getting extra towels from the front desk, 3 towels is their standard when cleaning. We were also given a handtowel that looked more like a cleaning rag. There are signs that say they are renovating, but we never saw any construction or renovation going on anywhere. The pool is indoor, which is nice, but its so incredibly hot with very little air circulation. Also, for what its worth, the self service laundry and workout room are in a 2nd building just across from the main hotel entrance. The staff were all very kind, but we will not be staying here again.

Hotel is a great location. Needs serious updating. Check in was Very slow with no one present when we arrived. Carpet was so old it had wrinkles. Could barely roll luggage down the main hall. Tub did not drain. Had to turn off the shower, wait and turn back on. All while standing in 4 inches of water. Tv turned on but no channels. Looked behind tv to find vape cartridge and wrappers. Lamps present but not plugged in. No accessible outlet. Bunk beds were cute but rickety. Laundry was across the parking lot in another building. Had to walk past smelly trash cans and clouds of smoke from the smoking area just in front of main entrance. Poorly lit parking lot. When I spoke to the front desk I was offered 15% discount. I was tired, disappointed and just checked out. $255 was discounted to $233 for one night. Will never return to this hotel. Sorry!

Great location - the planned update is needed

This hotel is conveniently located and offers breakfast (although it was stripped bare by the time we got there). PROS: -Fairly comfortable beds -Passable blackout curtains -Indoor pool area open late (and separate from main hotel) CONS: -Carpeting is in need of replacement -large stone shelf in shower is at just the right level to konk you in the head if you're not careful stepping in
