Nice hotel for Cortez. Large updated clean rooms. Great manager.

Highly recommend compared to other hotel options in Cortez. We have never walked away from a hotel but after requesting to see rooms offered by another chain, we ended up here. The BW hotel manager Misti was at check-in and she assured us they had large clean rooms (NO carpet on floors - all updated) and we were so thankful once we saw them. Our room was on the bottom floor and was quite spacious with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was typical, with a different hot entre depending on the day, and the gal running it kept quite busy keeping everything stocked. We will be stopping by here next time we drive through.

This is a budget motel so expectations should be based on that. That aside, I would stay here again. We got a room with a large tub-- nice after a long drive. 20 dollar pet fee instead of 75 or 100 dollars is a plus. Very clean and spacious. No carpet! Living room and bedroom. The towels were even made into fans. I appreciate those details especially at this price point.

Motel is older but has had a lot of updates. Staff were very friendly. Plenty of parking. Our room was quiet and clean. We were right in front of the pool, but it was covered and not in service when we were there, so quiet. We walked to a great Mexican restaurant less than 2 blocks away. There are a lot of places to eat within walking distance. Breakfast was typical of most hot breakfasts. Plenty of room for seating.

It is an older property, and the rooms have been renovated. They are clean and have basic amenities. The rooms are dark, and need either a desk lamp or a floor lamp. Breakfast was poor, even on BW's not high scale.....limited selection, burnt scrambled eggs. Staff is friendly and seem to care. There are probably better properties in Cortez.

Filthy room, towels, sheets, sink, and tub. Abundant pet hair. Dirty socks on floor. Yellow and brown stained sheets and quilt. Hair and soap scum in sink and tub. Non-functioning shower, ice machine, fireplace, window screen torn and didn't fit. Disgusting. No smoke detector. Did not meet basic standards.
