What a jewel in almost the middle of nowhere. Clean room, probably newly remodeled. Check in was done in detail without dragging long. Being a history guy, questions about the history of the establishment and area were answered very well. Kanab is only 20 minutes away if you want a store, more restaurants, etc., but the Thunderbird is great. I'd stayed here 30 or so years ago and came back for a bit of nostalgia, and am very glad I did. Very well done all around. Highly recommended if you're entering Zion from the east.

Great hotel—outside appearances are deceiving. The rooms are updated, cozy and clean. Plenty of amenities. Very nice front desk staff. We stayed here as it was in between Zion and Bryce so was very convenient. Would stay here again. Highly recommend!

Very beautiful hotel room that was a welcome retreat after a day of driving. Wish I could have stayed longer!! Clean, very comfortable and large room with a clean, gorgeous bathroom. It was updated, classy and one of the best hotels I stayed on my vacation through AZ and UT. Just loved this hotel. Very nice gift shop also.

This hotel has a unique decor. Something really special. Almost everything built with real wood. The rooms were clean and spacious. The small staff did their utmost to help. The resturant was far to busy for the available staff, but the food was execelent.

Lodge room was clean, quiet and very relaxing. Lots of amenities . Staff were friendly and Thunderbird restaurant was great. Location is excellent for visiting Zion canyon as well as taking part in guided adventures near the canyon. Nine hole golf course also on property.
