Great affordable and CLEAN hotel with cute and thoughtful amenities. Upon arrival we hopped in the free kayaks and explored the river. Its close to everything. Rooms are clean and beds are new and comfortable.Free breakfast did the trick before our day in Glacier. Fun game room with pool table and other games. Swimming Pool is small but adequate. Hot tub was fine and a nice treat under the stars. It's clear they are in phase 1 of their remodel but its not disruptive. They're on their way to a nice hotel in an expensive resort town.

From the other reviews I expected a bit more. Breakfast was what you'd expect as free - go early they run out of most things. Wifi was OK. Shower looked like a space pod with very low pressure. Room was next to ice machine that had folks needing ice all night long. Felt a bit more like a motel.

Staff is extremely nice and attentive!

The staff is SO SO nice! Tranner especially was very attentive! The location is superb, the hotel is right next to the river, and you can use kayaks or bikes to get to the lake. Makes for a super fun day to use their amenities. Excellent experience overall!

Felt scammed. Renovations really lowered the quality that we expected.

Avoid, at least until renovations are complete. Really disappointed. Could have stayed at a best western for cheaper, and had a better experience. We booked with a third party so we were unaware of the massive renovations on EVERY FLOOR. Their continental breakfast was in what looked like a conference room. It was clearly temporary (I hope), but it was so lack luster compared to what I would expect at even a hotel chain where their breakfast is in the lobby. Not to mention walking through the renovations on multiple floors to get to the breakfast, just not a fun experience. I understand renovations are occurring, but for the price we payed, the extent to which the renovations lowered the quality, it was incredibly disappointing, and honestly felt like we were scammed. Aside from the renovations, we were woken up by hearing our neighbors through the wall, otherwise the sleep was good. The view was, fine. It overlooks a slow river, and on the other side is residential, farm type houses with big metal sheds. Not the best view, but it was nice enough.

My son and I stayed here 4 nights while visiting Glacier National Park. We loved everything about The Pine Lodge. We had a very nice room on the River and enjoyed the hotel amenities, especially the deck and fireplace in the lobby. We walked to the town of Whitefish on the paved sidewalk behind the Lodge as we were lucky to have beautiful weather during our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend The Pine Lodge.
