Been staying at Grouse for various convenience needs for over 8 yrs now. Such a great spot, extremely well kept, well appointed in-town lodge. Rooms are spacious, the restaurant is super cozy clean and aesthetically pleasing with a true mountain lodge feel.

We loved our stay! Beautiful location, excellent service, wonderful value. Our room was tidied and towels changed out every day and the staff were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the restaurant and the fire pits and the hot tub. It was an easy drive to the mountain to ski.

A very nice hotel with a nice pool and sauna. The hotel was well maintained and had comfortable sitting areas and outdoor patios. The shuttle service to the town and ski mountain was excellent and made skiing there easier. The restaurant was basic with good food but with limited selection. The room was clean and comfortable but with "no frills".

As always, we enjoyed our stay at Grouse. Rooms are perfect, lobby is beautiful, best hot tub in Whitefish, shuttle to/from mountain essential (thanks for bringing back) and staff (Jennifer) is great. A real value. We'll be back again next year!

What a great few days this trip has been. This was a last minute booking for a solo trip I decided on back in January. After my stay I can’t be more grateful to have chose this lodge. Living in Florida my whole life and working in one of the top tourist destinations in the world (Disney) this was a great solo getaway to a place I never thought I visit. The Shuttle Service was fantastic. The Front desk (Catlin from Florida I believe) was very kind I really wish I could recognize all the shuttle drivers by name but the service was outstanding. I’ve worked in the Hospitality industry for over 20 years and working in lodging myself I really see the care and help your staff provide. I wish I stayed longer but know I left leaving a piece of a memory that will last forever. The room was great, and I felt the rustic look really brought out a true Northwestern effect on my experience coming from Florida. It can’t be as authentic as this. I plan to return to Whitefish in the future with my daughter in the near future and when I do, I’ll return back to Grouse Mountain Lodge. I will for sure share this with my peers and others who ever mention the word Whitefish, Montana. Thank you to everyone for making this solo trip of mine stand out. The GM needs I’m sure has gotten positive feedback and hope recognizes each of you.
