Very comfortable glamping camp with real beds and chairs inside. Bathrooms were simple, but clean and warm water was available at the common showers. It was easy to find the location of the camp and the staff members working at the place was super nice. There is no phone signal, so just count with that. The camp is also relatively close to a main road so cars make noise in the background while you sleep - bring ear plugs with you for this purpose.

Miserable Wander Camp Experience

Buyer beware! The Wander Camp Escalante was the absolute worst travel experience we've ever had. 1. The Escalante Wander Camp site was filthy, there was no hot water, the bathrooms were dirty. 2. It was so bad that we opted to abandon our 4-night reservation after 1 night. The possibility of eating the $300 payments was better than spending any additional time there. 3. But, THE WORST part of all of this is that when we alerted Wander Camp, we were told they would refund for the 3 nights we were not there. Many emails later, this remains unresolved, and we've realized, Wander Camp will likely never make good on their offer. So, regardless of which Wander Camp location one might select, be prepared for less than stellar customer service and follow up. And good luck getting any refund from them. 4. Never, ever again for Wander Camp. Horrible.

Wonderful

A perfect stay with a very warm welcome by John ! Everything was very nice, the bed was very confortable, the showers were clean, we had such a good time in this beautiful place. There is a nice fire pit, for enjoying a good evening with friends !

There was no hot shower, nor hot water available, with freezing temperatures outside. They could have given us an advanced notice since the staff told us the water heater was broken for several weeks, but they did not. We had to pay extra for heaters and there are not enough of them for every tent- so we literally froze all night long. Tents were dirty (full of dust and dead insects) and they flooded during rain, leaving all our luggage floating in water. They do not provide toiletry or towels (you have to pay extra for those too). Firewood is overpriced ($12 where even within the National park it was $7). There is no access to drinking water.... Even if it was advertised as "camping" - it would be bad - but "glamping"... what a joke. I paid nearly $500 for 2 night with my family and this is the worse experience ever. I have been trying to contact their teams for several months now and no one is answering the phone, nor emails. This business is a SCAM.

Perfect! It was clean, comfortable and amazing location. It rained a lot which caused the path to be really muddy and the gravel road going across the creek to be quite the adventure. But that is weather and the cost of visiting in May! It is a beautiful area and great access to Bryce Canyon National Park.
