Great Weekend Getaway if you live in MT in winter.

So, we do weekends two nights leave on Sunday usually. They are pet friendly as we like to bring our dogs. The location is great. We usually do the boundary line trail or walk into the park on the main road for a bit. There is another trail about midway up the boundary line road. Then hit the Madison Lounge restaurant for dinner, not cheap but great staff and food. The flank steak meal is wonderful. On Sunday, we will hit Bullwinkles (the bar area) and watch some football and have a hot buttered rum. The dogs love it. Makes for a great mid winter getaway.
We usually do another weekend up in Gardener (Gateway Inn) as we can cross the park and go to Cooke City and see the wildlife in the Lamar Valley. If you snowmobile, West Yellowstone is a great place as is Cooke City both for rentals.

Perfect stay in West Yellowstone

Cory and his staff go way above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The cabins are very roomy and feel like a little home away from home. Cory cooks breakfast every morning, answers questions, makes suggestions, lights fire pits at night and brings out s’more fixings, then takes time to sit around the fire and get to know his guests. By the time we left, we felt like we had been staying with friends instead of staying at an inn.
The Best in West Yellowstone.

In an area full of franchised and corporate owned money grabs, it's so nice to stay at a place where you can tell they truly care about your stay. Corey and Summer were so wonderful, the amenities on hand, including the smores, wine and beer by the fire pit were great. Such a great experience.

Rooms are individual cabins with small porch and two chairs. Loved having outdoor space which was in addition to two fire pits in the courtyard. Room was very clean. Nice flooring-vinyl hardwood type instead of dirty carpets. Tons of closet space and shelving. Beautiful modern yet rustic decor. Front desk people very helpful. Nice continental breakfast that included some egg burritos and waffles. My only criticism would be the pillows which had no support at all. This is an easy fix.

One of the most friendliest staffs you will ever meet. Planning a return trip for August 2025 and this is the one place I am checking out first.
