If traveling through Utah this is a nice place in Escalante to stay. Easy to get to.The staff was friendly and the lodge area and rooms were clean. It was so quiet and has a lovely view of the mountains.Did not have breakfast but it looked great.

We stopped on our way from Capital Reef to Bryce Canyon. Everything was new and clean. Large rooms, great shower, nice lobby! Lots of hiking information. Several good hikes near by. Included breakfast. Great value for the price. We should have stayed an extra day.

By far the BEST place we stayed on our 13 day Southern Utah trip! Southern Utah is fabulous with the National Monuments, National Parks, State Parks, etc, however, there are few great choices for hotels. This is one of them! Stay here and eat here! Also, the service was amazing! I cannot recommend them enough!

We had a spacious room that met our expectations on the size, sadly there’s no lift so if you have multiple luggages, it was a hassle to carry them up to the second floor. The aircon was barely going and took a while to cool down the room. The coffee machine in the room wasn’t working. It also didn’t feel very private with the blinds in a ground floor room. The coffee from the machine during breakfast was flavourless, there was no hairdryer in the room.

No elevator

The bed was comfy. The fridge was cold but was VERY noisy. We didn't use the TV, microwave, coffee maker or hair dryer. The shower was for handicapped as I had requested since I can't climb stairs (NO ELEVATOR) and it was clean. The room was clean. There were no curtains or shades and the blinds let in too much light. The dinner was good but not much choices. The breakfast had even fewer choices and the potatoes were too spicy. None of the meals were provided and were a little on the costly side but not too bad considering this town was small.
