I don't leave reviews very often, but for those who think this place is good at all you're not honest or ar leaving management reviews or something. Although they don't advertise all the things they don't have, I'll name a few: WIFI at the cabin Air circulation at all Outlets in Bathroom Hair Dryer--which I don't use TV (OK I get it) Microwave Refrige Towels/ wash cloths I'm sure I left something out. Cabin is really a sleeping room---big enough for a small bed. No sitting area outside, but on your neighbors porch. 4 or five units per A Frame cabin. Some may have 2 units, so I guess they modified them to 4 or 5 units to rent. If you don't mind paying $250 a night and being miserable--this place is for you. If you travel to see gift shops---OK this place is for you. Was so tired and miserable the next day we left...wasn't going to give them any restaurant $$$$ Drive to Cody...the drive is worth it and the choices start at 1/2 this dump. Dave---still pissed.

Tiny rooms. Zero amenities and no bathmat for $260 plus fees. Stay somewhere else!

I get what they are doing there. They are the very first thing you see outside the East Entrance of Yellowstone and they are designed to take full advantage of that. The tiny room is nothing more that a sleep chamber with no refrigerator, no television, no WiFi unless your room is close to the cheesy gift shop and bar. They have the worst pillows I have ever seen, and there were no bath mats on a slippery linoleum bathroom floor. By the time they added the fee for my dog that there was no room for, it was nearly $300 after tax, for 1 night. They could buy the equipment for WiFi all over the property for what they get for a room for 1 night. For 2 nights stay they could have it professionally installed. We would have had similar amenities had we slept in our truck in a turnout in the park. I hope I have effectively expressed my displeasure.

Love the convenience to the park!

We stayed here while making day excursions into ya Yellowstone Park. You literally can’t get any closer to the east entrance than Pahaska. A lot of the places charge by the week, so it’s nice to stay here for just a few days. as everyone has said, the cabins are rustic, but as long as you know that going in, you are not surprised. Our only complaint was that when we walked in to our upstairs cabin, it was extremely hot. But once we asked for a couple of fans, and turned on the back bedroom air conditioner and pulled the air through, it was perfectly fine. The food in the restaurant is great, and the service couldn’t be better. Ryan was usually our waiter, and he was so kind, especially to our one and a half year-old grandson. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. It’s also full of history of Buffalo Bill Cody. The accommodations match the setting. You are in remote mountains!

After reading the reviews we were leary of keeping our reservation. We are so glad we did!! We were off the grid with no internet cell service or t v. But we were in a nice Clean & quiet clean cabin (#4) The general store had already closed for the season but we were fine, as we ate in the restaurant, Had cocktails in the bar and they gave us a bag of ice for our room which we didn't need. There were deer grazing freely on the grounds, and traces where buffalo had been. Had there been someone staying in the adjoining cabin We probably would have heard them. This was a great time of year to travel to yellowstone as it's close to the end of the season and was not crowded at all.

Pretty Good

I like staying in historic places and we needed a place close to Yellowstone, so Pahaska suited our needs. We had a duplex cabin with a king bed. It was very comfortable. My only complaint is that we could easily hear the people on the other side. Fortunately, they were quiet. I really enjoyed being near the park entrance and away from the tourist scene in Cody. The restaurant and gift shop were good, the coffee shop not so much. Guests receive a free bag of ice for each night they stay. Be sure to get gas in Cody. Pahaska no longer sells gas and it’s expensive in the park.
