Bryce Pioneer Village sits on 13 acres of private land which is lush with Ponderosa Pines, Cottonwood Trees, and several fruit trees.
When you stay at Bryce Pioneer Village you will be just minutes away from some of the region's best hiking, biking, and sightseeing opportunities. Grand Staircase Escalante is less than a mile from the property, Bryce Canyon National Park is only about 15 minutes away, and many more state parks and recreation areas are all within an hour from the Bryce Pioneer Village.
Bryce Pioneer Village offers two basic types of accommodations: cabins and motel-style rooms, each offering a bit of history and nostalgia to your vacation.
The Bryce Canyon Cabins at Bryce Pioneer Village was originally built inside Bryce Canyon National Park from 1925 - 1927 by the Union Pacific. These cabins were designed by Gilbert Stanley Underwood (designer of the Ahwahnee Hotel). In mid-1980 the cabins were moved to their current location at the Bryce Pioneer Village to add additional lodging with a touch of history. These cabins have been renovated to include today's modern conveniences.
The hotel-style rooms at Bryce Pioneer Village are not as historic in and of themselves, however, you can still experience the nostalgia of the old west at the Bryce Pioneer Village Dinner Theatre. The Showdown Restaurant at Bryce Pioneer Village includes live entertainment showcasing classic 'old-west' showdowns. Watch as real live cowboys reenact gunfights, fistfights, and good-vs-bad scenarios from the old west. You will also be able to enjoy live music and other entertainment while you indulge in some of the tastiest food in town!
