Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and Cabins has been a cherished Yellowstone destination since 1937. This quaint resort is located below the steaming limestone terraces of Mammoth Hot Springs, and just 5 miles from the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
The main building of the hotel is wheelchair accesible and has a decorative lobby, a unique Map Room ideal for reading and relaxing, an activities desk, and ATM. Also located within the Mammoth Hot Springs area there is a dining room, a quick service restaurant, espresso service, a lounge, a gift shop, a general store, a clinic, a service station and more.
There is a wide range of accommodations here including comfortable mid-range rooms, rooms without a private bath, and luxurious suites with a sitting room and cable T.V. There are also three cabin styles which are only available in the summer.
Amenities include ski and snowshoe rentals and interpretive tours around Yellowstone for guests. Visitors to this area enjoy horseback riding, hiking, and observing the vast array of wildlife here. Be sure to bring a camera, because elk are regularly seen walking through the hotel grounds.
Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and Cabins is a non-smoking establishment. It is open December to March in the winter and May to October in the summer season . Internet hook-ups are not available in order to accentuate the natural essence of Yellowstone.
