The Grand River Adventure is one of the most popular tours that we provide in the southwest.  It is a combination tour of flying, 4 wheel driving, and rafting!  What could be better? 

Your Grand Canyon adventure commences at the Grand Canyon National Park Airport, located just outside the south rim of the canyon, near the town of Tusayan, Arizona.  From here you will fly to Page, Arizona by way of incredible views of Glen Canyon, Marble Canyon, and Grand Canyon.

From the airport in Page, you will jump into a 4 wheel drive vehicle and head for Upper Antelope Canyon, where you will be guided by a local professional.  As you view the stunningly beautiful features of this slot canyon, be aware that it has only been open to the public for a few years!  You will see magnificent features that are as pristine as the canyon itself.  During this part of the tour, you will also receive a light breakfast.

After visiting Antelope Canyon, you will then head toward the base of Glen Canyon Dam via a two mile tunnel!  At Glen Canyon Dam, you will get on a motorized raft that holds about 15-20 people and start your 15.5 mile float down the beautiful Colorado River.  During these 15.5 miles you will find yourself going through a time machine as you gaze up at canyon walls rising over 1000 vertical feet and view about 200 million years of geological history!  Lunch is provided following a stop to admire a collection of ancient petroglyphs. 

After lunch, you will continue on your trip down the river, eventually stopping at the very unique Lee's Ferry.  Here a van or motor coach will be awaiting your arrival.  One of our guides will transport you through Marble Canyon and across the Marble Canyon Bridge as you marvel at the beautiful scenery once again.

Just in time to view the spectacular sunset, you will be returned to the south rim of the Grand Canyon!
